Post 16 on-site provision for learners with an EHCP

Our warm and safe environment is designed to help learners feel that they belong and are cared for, especially when they might not feel ready for a large college environment. Our learner to staff ratio is 3:1 so that learners feel safe, included and supported.

Choose either: Art & Design | Hair & Beauty | Health & Social Care | Sport | Childcare | Science | Hospitality & Tourism

  • All learners receive a 3 day personalised learning plan that includes Vocational Studies qualifications and English & Maths if needed.
  • All learners are fully supported with information and guidance to move onto a sustained destination in college, training or work.
  • All learners receive a free breakfast and lunch whilst onsite
  • All learners have access to online education in addition to their studies.

Continued and future learning opportunities beyond Bay Learning Academy, whether that’s Apprenticeships, Study Programmes, Further Education or work is integrated into our Preparation for Adulthood curriculum which includes access to an independent Level 6 qualified careers officer who supports and mentors their next transition for added sustainability.
