Post 16 on-site provision for learners with an EHCP
Our warm and safe environment is designed to help learners feel that they belong, especially when they might not feel ready for a large college environment. Our learner to staff ratio is 3:1 ensuring learners feel safe, included and supported.
Students will study Functional Skills English and Maths plus one vocational subject.
Choose either: Art & Design | Engineering | Health & Social Care | Sport | Childcare | Science | Hospitality & Tourism
- All learners receive a 3 day personalised learning plan that includes Vocational Studies qualifications and English & Maths if needed.
- All learners are fully supported with information and guidance to move onto a sustained destination in college, training or work.
- All learners receive a free breakfast and lunch whilst onsite
- All learners have access to online education in addition to their studies.
Our Preparation for Adulthood curriculum which includes access to information and guidance for their next steps and future learning opportunities beyond Bay Learning Academy, whether that’s Apprenticeships, Study Programmes, Further Education or work.
